A lot of folk think that Substance Painter is all about brushwork, and that it isn’t good for hard surfaces. I busted this myth on Twitter by demonstrating that not only is it good for hard surface work, it often can kick the ass of baked sculpts.
I have been asked to show how I did this ‘sorcery’, so I have added it to the list of tutorial videos I will be making. It isn’t sorcery, but it is a little arcane as to how you set it up. Once you understand it though, you will be banging out hard surface work in no time!
